The Baseball Boosters raised several thousands of dollars and hired a respected, well-known groundskeeper to make bold and massive improvements to our fields

Mission Statement
Provide resources, improved baseball facilities and equipment, and administrative assistance to the St. Charles North High School Baseball team players, coaches and families to enable competitive fair play, and integrity at the highest level of excellence.
North Star Baseball is committed to excellence both on and off the field. From coaches to players to fans, we believe we are history in the making, and we're happy to have you take part in the experience. Please visit us often for news and updates on our team and ways you can help support the North Stars.
• Continue to improve and update the baseball facilities, including grounds and equipment
• Provide opportunities for players to play in other arenas, including travel over spring break
• Develop open lines of communication for all parents of players
• Absorb some of the administrative responsibilities normally held by coaches so they can focus more of their time on the players and team
• Develop and maintain a fiscally responsible budget
• Organize and implement various fund raising activities such as:100 inning game donations, Silent auction, Father/Son Clinic, Car Wash, Sale of discount cards, Golf outing
• Promote activities of the Boosters and the Teams
• Develop communication channels with parents via e-mail
• Provide access to spirit wear for family members
• Work directly with coaches to understand the needs of the players and work to ensure each player has the necessary uniform and equipment
• Work with coaches to assist in the organization of any traveling done by the team(s)
The officers of the Boosters will be elected in June of each year and will be limited to a two year term.
President
• Work directly with head coach to ensure needs of program are understood
• Develop agenda for each meeting
• Ensure objectives are understood and appropriate volunteers are in place to accomplish such objectives
• Develop budget and ensure the Boosters maintains its fiscal responsibility
Vice President
• Assist the President in ensuring his/her responsibilities are met
• Assume a significant role in the 100-inning game and related silent auction
Secretary
Record meeting minutes
• Work with President and coaches to ensure necessary communications are delivered to members of the Boosters and parents
Treasurer
• Maintain an accounting of the Boosters
• Work with President to ensure budget is developed, understood and met
• Ensure all necessary federal and tax filings are completed

Each team (Varsity, Sophomore and Freshmen) will be represented on the Boosters by at least one, and preferably two parents.
In addition to assisting the officers in carrying out the objectives and strategies above, their role includes ensuring all parents on their respective teams receives the necessary updates and communications and they serve as a voice for all parents from their team.

The remaining members of the Boosters will consist of parent volunteers whose role it is to help administer the objectives and strategies discussed above.

Any expenditure exceeding $500 must be approved by a majority of the Boosters members. Any expenditure between $200 and $500 must be approved by the President or two board members. Expenditures <$200 are at the discretion of the coaches.

The Boosters will meet the first Tueday in each month, at least nine months in any given year.
