Baseball Open Gym will be every Monday and Wednesday until Try-outs start March 1st!  The Open Gym will be held in the Main Gym and Mezzanine, at SCN, from 6AM to 7AM.  Please bring your bat on Wednesdays only.  We will not hit on Mondays’.  On ETC Wednesdays’, the Open Gym will start an hour later (7AM-8AM). The Southern Illinois Miners have announced the game schedule for the 2010 Spring High School Baseball Classic.  The Spring Classic will take place from March 29th through April 1st in Marion, Illinois.  The Classic tournament will feature 8 teams in a pool play format.  The eight teams include: St Charles North, Warren, Vernon Hills, Cary Grove, New Trier, Grayslake North, Harrisburg and Zion Benton.  St Charles North will play their first game on Monday, March 29th vs Grayslake North at 4:00 PM.  Game #2 will be Tuesday, March 30th vs Warren at 7PM.  Wednesday’s game will be a 10AM contest vs Vernon Hills.  The games on Thursday, April 1st will be determined by the results in each pool. All baseball players who are able to drive and are not participating in a Fall or Winter sport, are expected to start the off-season training program on Nov 3 (Tues).  We will meet in the weightroom at 6:15AM.  If you are unable to come, you MUST send a email to Coach Genke the day before. It is time to start preparing for the 2010 season! GO NORTH STARS!
